Trenčín Museum

Trenčín Museum is a cultural and scientific institution. The museum has a history of more than 140 years.
Its predecessor was the Trenčín County Natural Science Association, founded in 1877 and by the Merger with the Museum Society in In 1912, the Trenčín Museum was established.
Despite its natural history traditions, the Trenčín Museum is a museum of the patriotic type.
This museum owns and manages collections of historical, artistic, natural science, literary-historical or ethnographic character and rich collections in the field of numismatics, faleristics, philocarty, military and weapons, arts and crafts, etc.
The museum manages 175,449 pieces of collection items, each item has its own history and tradition.
