Brezina Forest Park
Just walk a few steps from the city center and you will find yourself in the woods.
Brezina Forest Park is located on the southwestern tip of the Strážov Hills, which extends as far as Trenčín.
Part of today's Brezina forest park was only a bare hill on which goats grazed in the 19th century, and
therefore, the highest point of the massif is called Kozí vrch.
The first trees that finally settled here were birches.
The name Brezina was derived from this. To this day, we can see beeches, rakes, maples, elm, spruce, pine, spruce.
This park has ideal conditions for mental as well as physical recreation.
Who is the park for?
The park is suitable for walking, running and mountain biking.
In winter it is possible to go cross-country skiing here.
The park does not have any exclusive character and for movement in it it is recommended to get more common, the so-called sportswear.
